I've got about 15-20 of the old NES systems.... most I picked up for a couple bucks that didn't work..... I rewired them and they work great now

Just be sure to get one with the internal fans. That way you want have to worry about the red ring of death. If it doesn't have them the external ones are like 25. It will save the xbox

Its still a pain in the ass getting the dust out of those NES games. If you don't hear a crunching sound when you put the game in, it never works right.

I've rebuilt mine so the contacts work better..... I forget what it was, but I read where you can dip the contacts in a solution and it makes it a lot better..... and it sure works (along with using modern wiring inside). No more blank screen's flashing random colors either
