I have a friend that sells tires and they do exhaust and repairs. He is the Manager of the shop. He himself is a heck of a mechanic and very respected.

Here is the deal I just can't believe.

His best friend has a 2011 Mustang GT 6M with stock tires. CAI, Long Tube Headers and a custom 93 Octane tune that runs 11:40s all Day with no juice.

Can this be?

Intake, headers, and tune (stock tires and no other mods) and he runs 11.40s all day long. I say B.S. and I want to see it.

Zero chance he is running 11.4 with those mods.

Here's the top 10 bolt ons fast list from modularfords.com

For some reason, they don't list the cars mods like we do. They just list gears and/or aftermarket converter.

So if he runs "11.40s all day long" he would be #6 on their fast list.

These cars also are running drag wheels and/or drag tires also.

I say good for him, to bad he wasted his money on a Ford Mustang. No matter the car someone will always be faster. Why would Camaro Owners care about the speed of a Mustang. I for one do not find the Mustang a good looking car Hence the Camaro Purchase. If I cared about the 1/8 or 1/4 mile times then I would of bought a 2010 Dodge Viper ACR or a 2010 Corvette ZR1 or Z06.

He = the one that owns the super fast UGLY AS HELL Mustang.

I agree its good to talk about the competition. Thinking about that, if it were'nt for the Camaro come back the Mustang would still be running a 5 litre with 225 HP... EPIC FAIL Ford...

Darn! So Mustangs 5.0s are much faster than SS Camaros. I still like my Camaro. Fast enough for me.
