I'd rather have the Metallica stereotype then the
Vanilla Ice "rolling in my 5.0" stereotype.

Ice Ice Baby indeed.

Same. I never heard it until I joined a Mustang forum. It's still not something that comes to mind when I see a Camaro, not even with an 80's one.

Stereotypes don't matter when you're looking at your opponent in the rear-view mirror!!

I also think everything has to start at the source....if WE let it go....everyone else will let it go. The only reason it's being brought up in a few reviews is because of the retro-throwback connection they're trying so hard to make. I think once the car has a few model years under it's beltline, this conversation will die out.

WOOOHOOOOO SKYNYRD!

Seriously, I'm in the who cares camp. The media loves to lay on those kinds of images; I think it's part of the American car stereotype. To break the stereotype just keep a nice clean car and try not to look like you just rolled out of bed.

yo man some double wides are seriously nice i swear if you can get past the stigma of trailer park you can get a double wide with a garage hot tub and deck in a park w/ paved roads for cheap, plus taxes are less; some of these people got it figured out no wonder they can afford the irocs
