A good announcer/play caller is hard to find. I remember Dave Neighouse when I lived in Seattle calling Mariner Games. We get so used to them it's just not the same wouthout them.

The BCS formula is kinda weird when you look at it......especially the ranking....../

Take Penn St....I know they have struggled and continue to but they have lost 1 Game and that was to Alabama but they are ranked 17??????? Same with Oregon's loss to LSU but they are 8????? Note I do not think Penn State will win the rest of their games but Congrats to Joe Paterno.....409 games is alot to win.


There is not rhyme nor reason to the rankings. Trying to use logic is futile in this thing....Lets take OU for example...which I have thought would go undefeated......BUT they lost to a NON ranked team who just got smoked......So OU's Loss is worse that Oregon or Arkansas, both of Oregon and Ark's loss have come to the #1 and #2 team in the BCS....see what I mean...????? Makes no sense........

Alot of people get caught up in the BCS polls and while it is hitting November there is still A LOT of football to be played before this thing is settled.

Last week we saw Clemson get throttled by GT.......While I saw this coming it was really the GT defense that stepped up.

Of course K-State got smoked by a pissed off OU team and it wasn't even funny.......still makes me wonder why they lost to Texas Tech.......If they would have played this way against TT it would have not even been close......

Standford..........really don't know what to say about this game...they jsut kinda looked average but I like the fact that ole Lane Kiffen lost....Karma is a bitch Lane.

I think injuries are part of the game and thus the SEC is reeling from injuries...Tenn lost their QB, Florida lost their QB, Auburn lost their QB ( Draft ). Several teams are simply not that good in the SEC BUT dream on if you think Boise could win consistently in the SEC, Pac 12 or Big 12.....Wonder how Boise QB would fare agaiinst LSU or Alabama's defense........Sure they always say well we beat GA...Big deal who is Ga......?

Just like they claimed UTAH was all that and a bag of chips? What is their record in the PAC 12?

Alabama LSU week is upon us and all eyes decend on Tuscaloosa this weekend.......Who will win? No one really knows I am just hoping for a good game that is won on the field with no weird officiating.

I think points will be at a premium and will be low scoring.

UGA isn't much, but they're tied for 1st in the SEC East. BSU killed them. I have no doubt they'd beat every team in the SEC but the top 2. But again, not many other teams if any at all would.

OU is ranked ahead of Arkansas for good reason. Arkansas has looked like total crap the last 2 weeks. They had to get VERY lucky to eek out a win against lowly Vandy. Meanwhile OU blasted an undefeated top 10 team on the road.

If this were the NFL, all of this speculation of who beat who by how much would not even be in the conversation. And it shouldn't be.

Fact is that every team match up differently and so you get different results from different games. Games flow differently from game to game based on the teams. OU might beat Kansas St. by 50 and lose to Tech and K St. play Tech in a tight game that go either way.

Games have a way of taking a monentum bouce that might not always happen. IMO, and I've always said this, Ws and Ls is all that should matter. I've seen the Bills get beat by 30+ and then see them beat that same team two weeks later by 20+. (Dolphins in reg. season and then playoffs)

Like Utah and Bama, or Boise and OU, the game with OU and TT a few weeks ago was Techs Championship game. OU got caught and they paid for it. OU got what they deserved. They're supposed to know the target is on them and get it done. Like LSU and BAMA have.

The problem is OU is notorious for looking past teams they think they will throttle, they have done this in years past and still continue to do it to this day.

The Whaley injury is going to hurt us when you loose a premier running back like him the easy games seem to get a bit harder.

I cannot wait till LSU and BAMA meet that is going to be a good game!

I knew that Texas A&M had lost to Mizzou, but I just now noticed the Texas Tech vs. Iowa State score

Tech goes from beating the "best" team in our conference to getting throttled by the second worst team in our conference.

At least Texas properly shut-out Kansas. Even if I couldn't watch the damn game Stupid freaking Longhorn Network
