They are going to the west with Alabama, Arkansas and LSU to name a few and they are not better than either of them at least this year..

IF A&M told themselves every week they were Playing Texas they would look like last years packers EVERY WEEK.

A&M may no have the best players in the country or the state however they have heart. Just like there fans thats what makes them aggies however one thing History has normally shown.

Aggies normally Fold and this year it was early.

Domminate first half against OKie St which led to a 2nd half meltdown.
This was the first time in decades I think they even played well with Arkansas.

Arkansas Came in to this game once again a few years ago and have spanked the Ag's every year since. LSU lol will not have a down year to where A&M will beat them and as for Bama well unless they get caught questioning themselves about weather those are male cheer I mean Yell leaders on the aggies sideline rather than a women ( YES They are ) then I dont see that happening to often.

Who knows we will see. Its going to take some terrible teams of the other SEC opponents to make A&M look that good.

Well I tried...... but then agaon I thought OU would cruise to New Orleans and ole Tommy Tuberville spoiled that one. I watched that game again and still can't believe it.

Last night in between pitches I watched a little of the Houston game....... That game was so funny.....it looked like everytime he threw the ball it was a TD......Those receivers can't be THAT good....What they did is hard even at 7on 7 though.

I know A&M usually folds and was really trying to be nice about another team, especially the way they lost 2 games with 18 point leads at half but we have all seen teams have epic fails during the years...see Al vs La-MonroeEPIC FAIL

Randy is right that alot of teams could lose and set up a rematch of Al-LSU but I know for sure Boise St will not lose, maybe it is their year to play in this game if all the other lose....I would really like to see the game of LSU/AL winner play Boise St in the Superdome.......I think it would even be worse than Ga vs Hawaii a few years ago...After that game we have not heard much from Hawaii and I suspect it would be the same about Boise St...........

Boise St people cry about no one wanting to play them.....really well tell me what team would leave a 100k seating stadium to go to one that hold 35k oh and is ranked in the TOP 1,2,3,4,5 in the BCS.....NOT Many...If Boise St wants to be considered seriously then join the Big 12, it is relatively close they have great teams and then we will see if they can go underfeated or 46-2 in three years.....then I will be impressed. When you play 1 game a year at the beginning of the season that you have had the ehole off season to prepare for does not impress me.......

I always hear about Alabama vs UTAH and OU vs Boise St......it is really simple they did not want to be there. The Utah and Auburn loss last year did do one thing....it awoke a sleeping team.

A&M playing in the SEC West which should soon be Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Mis, Miss St., and Mizzou (Auburn volunteered to move to the East)....put A&M in a similar situation they were in as part of the Big 12 South with UT, OU, OSU, TTU, and Baylor.

I've said it all along and I still believe it...A&M should recruit better being in the SEC. Looking at the last few years, in the Dallas area, A&M competes for the same kids against UT, OU, OSU, and Arkansas and has lost several Texas kids to those other schools. In the Houston area, they compete against UT and LSU and have lost a few to LSU. A&M will be the only State school in the SEC and I think that will be an advantage for them, so hopefully they can sway some of those Texas kids lost to Arkansas and LSU back to a Texas school.

Bottom line is A&M will have to recruit better and I think they can before they think they can hang with LSU and Bama. Or at least quit giving games away to Arkansas.

We'll see what happens, but I see the positives.

Agreed Jekyll...the Aggies gave two games away this year and have a lot of talent. Also, with your statement you made in the Big 12 thread (I think it was your statement) a lot of fire did leave when R.C. Slocum left the sideline. Franciphoney....well he proved to be a bust. And Sherman...he's smart, has great assistants, and is now playing with his recruits, but I don't think he's as firery as Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, Nick Saban, or Les Miles.

The Okie State and Arkansas games, to me at least showed they can play like a top Big 12 team....at least until A&M's weak secondary got exposed. It's been the weakest part of their recruiting the last 2 years. Hopefully they can tighten it up before they play OU and get lit up by Landry Jones.

Good Morning everyone!! It's college football Saturday. May your team bring you a victory unless that team is Purdue. Big Blue's gonna be strong today.

Good Morning! Go Penn State! Should be an interesting game with the snow storm up there. The Illini are in for a soggy slog in State College today!

It is beautiful here though, so the Camaro is going for a cruise and then I will watch the game!

I heard that and that the heaviest snow is gonna fall during the game. That will be fun to watch.

Bama and LSU would be ahead of any other one loss team for sure. AND ahead of Boise. OU, Bama or LSU, Oregon, and a few others could be ahead of an udefeated Boise St. One of them gauranteed. Happens every time they go undefeated. No reason to think otherwise this year.
It would be a travesty to put a team in the title game that not only didn't win their conference, but didn't even play in their conference title game, over a team with the same record that won their conference.

That same argument was used against Michigan in '06.

Oh and Go Blue!

While I"m not an SEC supporter I must say that the gap between LSU and Bama and the rest is HUGE. Those are easily the strongest two teams.

That being said, the SEC sucks right now. The toughest games LSU has had were their out of conference games. THe SEC schedule has been cake.

Boise St. WILL NOT finish number 2. Mark my words, and I'm not even going out on a limb, Boise will finish behind a one loss team.

So to your point, I'd be fine this year if it turns out Bama and LSU in that game. Hell, Oklahoma had to play a NON RANKED team last year in a BCS GAME.

The BCS is FAR superior to anything college football ever had but it's still stupid. But such is college football.

More controversy will be needed to change it. So I'm all for Bama and LSU in that game.

Seriously, again??? WTF?!?!?!

Aggies with ANOTHER double digit lead at the half
+ 3 turnovers in 2nd half
+ BS 2nd half adjustments
= Another stupid loss

.....and the next 2 games are @ OU and @ K State

Jeez, close out a game already!
