Kinda cool actually, I just got a mini-promotion of sorts. I started here like three and a half years ago in the art dept just doing logos and web design, and have since moved up to run all of the website operations (tech support, marketing, maintenance, etc). My higher ups told me this week that they're splitting me off of the art dept to form my own thing. I'll be running a department!

I don't have an accent in either language, I've been speaking both my whole life. Sometimes, some people in the US will say I sound different, but not an accent. At the worst, I mix up sentence structures once in a while. I feel more at home in the US, I like it better than Turkey. Turkey's nice, only if you have money. And there's a limited amount of stuff to do for fun, so it gets repetitive quick. It's called Turkish you were right

so an older lady i work with told me yesterday not to pay my speeding camera tickets from LA because they can't do anything to you can they can't prove you got them and you wont get any fees or a warrent or yadda yadda yadda. And everyone backed her up. Well Skip has asked everyone of his CJ teachers today who are all officers of the law, and they all said that yes the state will tell texas to issue a warrent, you will have a crap ton of fees and will be unable to get a new license or register. Also it goes to a collection agency so they get to hound you all the time. And even if you didn't get the ticket in the mail the state considers the mail (i so said this) a arm of the law and it serves as an offical serving. I dont even need to tell them i'm right, just knowing that she has 4 unpaid ones that will catch up with her is good enough.
