it's weird because in all the pictures, the light looks almost teal, or an aqua color (which i don't mind.
), but in real life, it's as green as a green traffic light.

there's a piece you can remove when you open the hood. it's the metal piece that's surrounding the hood latch. once you remove that, you can stick you hands in there to place the scanner with some double sided tape. It definitely helps if you have skinnier arms/hands. I don't have either, so it was a little tight for me, but still doable. once i got them stuck where i wanted, i then ran the positive wire to the fuse box power and the negative to a good ground nut. which i used a radiator nut.
