Bank of America are Scum Bags

I have been with BoA for the past 8 years now, I have bought 3 vehicles thru them, have my house thru them, have a credit card thru them, and I make my payments and such on time.

Well yesterday I put my check in the bank thru their ATM at like 630 at night, thinking I will get my monies today like I always do. I normally have 50% of my bills going out on friday anyways.

Well this past week I was hit hard, and as of right now I have a 0 balance.

BoA is HOLDING MY check till MONDAY at 5 PM. I talked to 3 people who have their heads up their asses and there is NOTHING I can do about it. On top of that, my Car payment goes out today, which will result in a 35 dollar overdraft fee.

I am Broke until MONDAY NIGHT because BoA WANTS ME TO GET OVERDRAFT FEES!

I cant believe this shit, they said many factors are because of them holding the check, such as account funds, history with the bank, etc. As you can see I have a fantastic relationship with them, and they are shitting on my face something serious.

So in a nutshell I cam going there Monday and moving all my shit to another Bank, any suggestions?

sorry, I just had to get it off my chest.

/end rant

Only use credit unions, the catholic one is good for cheap loans.

All I can say is USAA... My funds are always available a day or two ahead of my co-workers... Customer service is top notch...

Before I get flamed... yes they are open to other than Military for regular banking. They even pay back other banks ATM fees.

B of A is the dirtiest group out there. I've got my own saga going with them..

absolutely awful... One of my loans was sold to them and I'm doing everything I can to try and refinance through another bank.

Sorry to hear your getting messed over by them.

That sucks man, I'm sorry. I'm not trying to rub salt in the wound here, just echoing how much BoA sucks. Starting Monday of this past week BoA charges you 14 cents PER swipe of your debit card. No matter what you are using it for.

Paypal is also a good place to keep money, the cash back on purchases adds up. I buy all my gas with my paypal card. and since they are not a bank or a cc company, you get ahead easy. I often have more money with them then in the credit union.

I haven't been to bank or ATM to deposit a check in years. All money is electronically deposited and I have instant access to funds. Have you considered that?

I'm opening an account at a credit union this weekend, BoA started charging me $2 atm fees... that's $2 PLUS whatever fee the ATM itself charges.... this plus there non-stop shady business practices, buh-bye BoA, good ridance when you finally fail and the government doesn't have enough money to bail your dumbasses out!
