If I wasn't almost done with my Master's (with $50K in student loans about to hit payoff start date), and if I hadn't gotten laid off and been unemployed for two years until this past April, I'd have a V8...

No, wait. I'd still have a V6. Because I love the gas mileage, looks, cheaper insurance and it's more powerful than I need.

Plus I'm slowly learning how to work on these new cars that are all computerized (I miss working on my old dirt track car and on old trucks sans ECMs)... If I really screw up something I'd rather it be a V6 then a big expensive V8

I have my whole life to get a V8.

And I can usually shut people up when they ask why I didn't get a V8 by simply showing them what the LLT will do

I'm lucky my parents paid for my school but Skip is going to have lots of student loans. Joy. I love my 6 ALOT, for all those reasons... But I got a need for speed bad. Skip is trying to get used to them too, he is so used to working on older vehicles.

I'm single and own a V6:( My reason though is I had a brand new car I bought in 08. I only made 24 payments and then traded it in. I only made $100 off of it the rest paid off the lien. I wanted my payments around the same like I was paying before. My payment jumped up $1.00 and some change

I'm still taking college classes so that is taking a chunk out of me and some cc debt. So I'm stuck with a V6

I'm turning 30 next year so maybe by next October when my bday rolls around a SS will be my present to myself since my chances of having kids are 1 to 2 percent thanks to some health issues I was diagnosed with:(
