You're also told to be aware of what's behind the person you're about to shoot. What if she missed? Or what if the bullet travels through the perp's body, has some kind of weird exit trajectory and strikes the kid in the stroller?

Oh I'm all for dropping the guy, but I wonder how close the kid was to this scumbag when she opened fire? It also doesn't mention what she shot him with.
