Ouch. Bummer! What exactly does an Engineering Technician do (when not out of work)?

Ouch man.. just ouch. So close. ;_;

I know that people like you could be a big help in the Aviation industry. Try looking for a job there.. it's growing exponentially. Check companies like L3 Communications.

Well, at least they told you before you brought a 30 thousand dollar car home. Man that sucks. Good luck on the job hunt. Just fire out resumes. Even if you don't think you like the job description. Some times you'll get lucky, and find something better than what you had before. I did.

Go to your local library and get this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Ask-Headhunter.../dp/0452278015
I highly recommend it. It presents a radically different style for job-hunting than is normal, and I didn't have the balls (or even the ability) to do it that way but I picked up some great ideas that I could apply to my own style.

Well I Don't even know where to start, It's been 32 years since I was job hunting and I know things have changed alot.
It feels like I am starting all over again...
I have a couple Ideas to try first, and if they don;t pan out then I will have to expand my search.

I think I am ready to change things up some. I just need to somehow supliment my retirment for a few years untill I can get Social Security.

Don't cancel the camaro yet. Let them build it and ship it. When it arrives have a friend or an interested party go with you to buy it. You ordered but don't have to accept it. It could be that a man with your experience will find something right away. Good luck!

Skyman, I hate to hear that. I know you have a few years on me and I can't tell you anything you don't allready know but fwiw every time I ended something, there was always something better out there for me. This could be a blessing in disguise. Try and think possitive.

Good luck. If you're ever in this area you can drive mine anytime.

I went by and they gave me my deposit back already, they did say if I do find a job to come back and they will still let me have the car same arrangement.. what a great dealer... The order has already gone through on the car it is too late for it to be stopped now... they will get it and probably sell it to someone else with no problem...
It will really hurt seeing it on the road around here..

By the way I have 4 1" transformer Autobot emblems (looks like my avatar)and a 3/4" X 3 inch silver nameplate with "Bumblebee Edition Serial NO.001" written on it that I will sell them all for $40 dollars.
