Don't know how that got confused.
Fighting our nations wars doesn't mean you are on a field with you m16 shooting at some Afghan. Only a small portion actually do that, the rest are behind the lines making sure they get what they need and etc. i just left Afghanistan last year and am going again this year. And the people that says one branch does more than the next branch that gap is closing more and more everyday. You have convoys filled with every branch not just the army and the marines. I have about 10 friends doing convey duty right now, and 3 more are leaving really soon. and am in the air force

Somehow I can't find where I ever wrote that fighting our nations wars only means being in the field with an M16.

Somehow I also don't remember commenting on the contribution of one branch over the other, or how they contribute, or which is more important.

Somehow I fail to see how anythng you said has any direct relevance to my statement, unless you assumed a lot about what I said that simply isn't true.

All the services are good and more and more dependant on each other. When I spoke of being a soldier I never implied I was anywhere near the caliber of the Army or Marines that are faced with on the ground fighting. I believe they enjoyed the air support that I helped provide and they helped direct. I prefer a strong national defense in show rather than in action. Not meaning to leave out the Navy by any means. How those guys spend that much time on the water without going nuts is beyond me! Cudos to them.

Not just the marines and the army do the ground fighting anymore. the air force is now apart of the ground fight maybe not as hardcore as the army but they are there. Am not sure about the navy because am not in the navy but the military is becoming a whole not divisions anymore

Currently on my second tour in Iraq-12 to 14months

Only doin 4 as ive already spent over half my MC career in Iraq. lifes to short
No offense to others but I would be embarrassed to be apart of the army or air force!!! and would not feel safe going outside the wire with them!! I have personal experience for my reasons!!

There's a reason I went to the Air Force over the Marines. I give the marines my utmost respect, and I'm sure you have your personal experience with people who were not trained in combat to the degree in which you are. going outside the wire is one thing. but just remember when you need an air strike called in from a high flyer, the boys in blue will have your back. even if you dont have theirs.
