It took for my wifes, as she hadn't updated her phone in a while, but once she got it done, she loves all teh new features, she did her iPad as well.

I'm still holding off for the untethered jailbreak. While I want the new features of iOS5, there's some Cydia apps I can't live without.

Even once theres an untethered JB it'll still take time for all the apps to get converted. Same thing happened when iOS 4 came out

Actually, it's a good test. Another video here comparing it to a non-iPhone.

Doesn't look like the iPhone compares in durability to other phones. I've dropped my android (one time arcing in the air about 3 feet over head height), and though I've gotten scratches on the case...never have I broken a screen. I saw a video earlier today comparing it to another phone with brand new phones dropped 3 different ways. iPhone fared poorly.

Personally, I don't think it fared well in the blender test either...
