Getting myself excited

for probably no reason in the long run.
I stopped by the Cadillac dealer to check out the CTS-V Coupe. One of the sales people who I didnt know worked there use to ride motorcycles with me and a few other guys probably 15 years ago. Anyway we are checking it over and talking about it some.
Now they want me to bring my Camaro by so they can see it and work up a trade, grrrrr. I am pretty sure anyway the payment in going to be a bit more than I am willing to pay. Manager told me high 20's for trade value. I told the salesman there is no way I would take less than 30. He seems to think he can get the manager to up the trade value.
Sounds like they are willing to let me take it for a drive although like the salesman said, most people who buy these cars dont want to see hardly any miles on them.
The one they have is triple black with an auto for 63,900. I told him I would want a stick and probably the blue or red in color.
Anyway, is there anyone here who has a CTS-V. I dont think I need to ask what you think of it because I know the answer, lol. I think awesome just looking at it.

I guess I never thought of it till now but how many would save a few thousand and get a ZL1 over a CTS-V Coupe?

I dont i have a Cts V coupe but i did talk to older gentleman that has one and he loves it his is a Stick as well. Me personally for my money id wait till the zl1 came out and do a comparison between the two.

Well if you are seriously considering a ZL1....you better get on a list at your dealer.....considering they are only going to be maiking 5000 ZL1 each year.

Sir Nuke, GM has said that it will make as many ZL1's that are demanded. There is no production limit.

Bottom line you are gonna lose your ass trading in a model year 2011. You will not get what you want. Should have bought what you wanted originally or waited. Not sure why you are trading already, but if you do, you will not get what you want in trade.
