Back in the day, you would be entirely accurate. However, with the advent of the original Modern Warfare, EA/Dice has tweaked it now so that you can do 16 on 16 or 32 on 32 infantry maps, in which you're actually shooting walls down and leveling buildings, etc...

But hey better matches for us. I agree on 2.5 also the same engine all it has is new maps guns and campaign. I will be renting MW from gamefly just to finish the campaign that's about all ill get out of it.

Yeah, that is the other reason I'm not buying into MW2.5: I refuse to award a company for being lazy and un-innovative. At least DICE is pushing the envelop on new tech.

I dont care about MW3. It will be decent, but im not interested this time around.

BF3 will be my game of choice for the next few years. I thought the beta was great for an older build.

I like the fact that DICE is evolving their engine. Pushing the industry forward. COD is becoming the Guitar Hero of shooters.

Call of Duty might win the console war, but I will still be playing BF3 2 years from now, and all the CODs will be in the used bin at GameStop. No staying power for me.

The vehicle combat and sheer adaptability is what makes BF superior to me. I play with all my buddies from across the country. We play as a team and it is incredible the things you can do when you work as a team in these games.

Sales do not always make a good product.

COD has its audience and appeals well towards them. That being said, a three year old could pick up an Xbox controller, throw together some class, and destroy everyone in COD on his own. Try doing the same in Battlefield and you'll be destroyed if you don't at least attempt to cooperate with your team.
