Nice, eventually you could start cutting the cardio days back when you get up to 4 or 5 miles in a clip.

when i hit my goal i plan on still running the same amount..i figure i can just eat a little worse here and there once in a while.

Its awesome once you hit your weight goal if you keep up the running amount because you have a boosted metabolism. Case and point when I was running 65 miles a week before my current job I was consuming 3,500 calories a day to slightly go above break even, now with 35-40 its only 2,800. Its great being able to eat big meals, albeit a lot of work goes into it. I have to be careful its too easy to lose weight with the amount of cardio I do, I'm at 180 and I'd like to be around 195.

i want to be around 170-180.

i'm 5' 10.5"-5' 11"

i want my 32-34 waist back.. i'm down to a 36 now from a 38.

That's a solid goal. I'm 6'1 and I was 210, 34 inch waist when I stopped playing sports in high school. I was starting to have problems with my joints so I ran myself down to about 170 with a 30 inch waist, in otherwords a little too far. It does feel good to have that weight off though, makes moving around easier.

yeah.. especially ankle surgery.

the less weight makes it easier on me. it's not as sore since i started this august 1st.

I was having problems with my right should dislocating, that isn't an issue anymore with the weight gone. The soreness will start getting less severe a month or two in once you get your muscles trained for a lifting program.
