Good thing Mattison made the adjustments and got his defense fired up for the second half because they looked awful in the first half. With Denard's 3 INT's we were lucky to only be down 10. But, that's what good coaches do. They looked a lot more settled and comfortable on offense and aggressive on defense after halftime. GO BLUE bring on Sparty!!

Yep, it is SO refreshing to see this defense adjust. They are really starting to be quite a unit. Not there yet, but I like the progress. God I love my Wolverines.

Pooner-Dude, ask yourself why has the SEC won the last five BCS NCG's? I have made no excuses for UT's loss today..........predections/opinions are why this is called a "Forum", and this is the "Sports Lounge" thread. You seem to have no problem in telling us how UT sucked today.....fine, I am telling you why OU had dropped to #3, and they can't run the ball...That takes us back to the opening question, "why has the SEC won the last five BCS NCG's?", OU better know, or the SEC will make it number six!

Finally! The Aggies close out a game against TTU!

Pass defense was improved but I still say the play calling was suspect in some areas.

I know some of you Sooner and Horns fans don't like Aggies fans but damn, did you see/read what the TT fans did, damn....real classy.....

First half was awful.... I held my breath everytime Denard stepped back to pass

Like yall said, It was good to see them make the adjustments that were needed!

Next week is going to be nerve racking.....

First off congrats on the win ou I can't say it wasnt expected.
I mean come on you are a team picked to go to the NC game. You did everything you were supposed to do against a young UT team with all new coaches and lots of new players.

Sure now say yeah yeah excuses excuses lol. Go back and read my past posts I told you it should happen.

You don't learn new schemes with new personal and beat a big seasoned experienced rival unless a injury occurs.

The horns have showed improvement but u can't walk into the RRR with dust on your shoulder pads . Or a rookie qb/ or qb's Y'all remember the Rhett bomar days and the early days of your current qb.

In a nut shell young off line against a 4 year good defensive line with no time given to a young qb = bad for offense

You give wr's to much cushion they catch and move on u IMO our secondary game plan sucked ( not physical enough )


No one is on the hot seat lol. It's 05 all over again but this time u r smiling. Young vs expierenced team. Younger gets ass kicked.

Games like that piss coaches off where practice suck the following week.

Keep playing like this or you will be the laughing stock.

We lose to ou this year it wasn't a shock but if u lose a game omg meltdown season down the drain.

I agree. LSU and BAMA look damn tough. My son told me he wants OU and Bama to meet in the NCG.... I told him "Carefull what you wish for".....

But make no mistake. OU CHOSE to run the ball largely. Again, UT stacked forward and played man to man. If Bama or LSU want to do that they better come with some offense too. Because OU can put the points up through the air on them too if they do the same. Edge goes to them but it isn't a forgone conclusion.

Absolutely agree. UT is full of Freshman. OUs freshman RB comes in and carries the ball once and tuns it over.

Enjoy the victory, but recognize that just because y'all won by a large margin doesn't mean your team is invincible. Texas, filled with fish and sophomores, put up a decent fight against a much more experienced team. OU showed it had some weaknesses, and any team in the future that can match up physically will know where to hit early and often.

We [OU fans] were talking about today's game results/celebrating our victory.
