Can't believe it took a company this long to come up with these. Should be on every vehicle.

I wonder what this would add to the cost of the vehicle? Well Sir, if you want Parking Armor it's another $100,000. Would still be awesome though.

Protectors may keep a scratch from happening but does nothing to prevent a dent from occurring.
I will still park way out on the back forty.

That shit should not be on any vehicle. All that feature is doing is letting people be even more irresponsible for their actions. "Oh, I can just fling my door open, I have a door protector". It's like some cars that have instant braking if they detect they are going to strike and object. That's great but again that's just going to make people think that they don't have to "think" anymore when driving their damn car. Horrible idea ford!!

For people saying it's a bad idea, think about this. People are going to be stupid about giving door dings regardless if there are door protectors or not.

HOWEVER,

door protectors = worst case you get a dent... easily remedied with PDR

no door protectors = worst case you get dent, lose some of your paint, and get some of theirs, now that sucks!

Here's what I believe, These door protectors only protect their doors and not my car. This idea just makes their gross neglegence worse because now they will allow their car door to smash into my car cause they will belive these things will prevent any damage and as stated in previouse posts I will still recieve damage.
