Anyone and everyone gets scored on. You as I know standings right now dont matter as long as you keep winning the Sooners wont fall much out of 2nd. Unless they start adding style points I dont see them climbing back into #1 spot.

I wouldnt want to be in the #1 spot its tainted imo.

This week and next week OU wont be showing to much as They are not going to show there true fire before OCtober 8th neither OU or Texas ever does this.
After October 8th both OU and Texas give it all as everything comes out of the bag and points start soaring for style points getting ready for BCS ratings.

OU isnt perfect but neither is LSU. LSU is mostly defense right now.

As I said last week Michigan has a QB who has heart and is taking this team on his shoulders. Yes he can run however he was running just like he is now last season and again they are at 4-0.
IMO again he needs to start working on his passing game it didnt look so swift Yesterday when michigan or any team meets a high caliber team the running QB isnt going to win it with his feet it will be the arm that wins the game.

Until week 7 or 8 im not paying attention who is #1 or #10 its just a number Just Win

I'm guessing you're still in high school. YOU are the reason College football sucks. See my previous post making fun of the very thing you just did.

There's something you just don't hear with NFL fans that drives me nuts with college. Goes a little something like this..................;

"Oh, ya. Well we ran up a win on the same team that beat the team that blew out the team that you barely beat."

"And another team in our conference beat the team from your conference that barely beat a team from that conference."

"Your team only put up 21 points on that team that we put up 45 points on."

And so on.............
Ranked team ...

OU looks too porous on defense anyway. They could make it just fine. Maybe they won't. That's why they play the games. Or do you not understand that. Or did you just watch the highlights?

Watch this, I can do it too: ............LSU was only up 6 late in the game.

LSU has that distinction now.

Not defending that guy, but that was with 1:16 to go in the 3rd qtr and then LSU ran the kickoff back so with 1:00 to go in 3rd qtr they were up by 13 with still a lot of footbal to go which LSU dominated the rest of the way. LSU stuffed WV's running game. When they take away your running game, it's pretty much over. You gotta be able to run the ball when you get into the red zone.

The thing I like about the Sooners right now is they are scoring without kickoff returns and defensive TDs. Those will come. I fyou can still win without those you are doing well.

A minute left in the 3rd quarter is still a point made. OUs score was up by 17 late in the 4th and the spread was 19.

Again, these arguments is why I prefer the NFL where a win is a win.

I would be shocked if the Sooners are not playing for the National Championship and it will more than likley be against LSU. It should be one hell of a game.

OU better get some better DB play and more pass rush. They aren't bad but LSU is much better defensively. I think OU could move the ball on LSU though.

OU is not going to just go through A&M, Okie St. and UT with ease.

Oh I know, those are gonna be some tough games for sure. Seeing them win that game against Fla St. though showed me they got what it takes.

a&M = A$$ kicking and a Win only because its in Norman if it were Kyle field close game.

UT= Who knows it could be a A$$ kicking Win and it could be close. But in being real I see another OU win.

OKIE ST = VERY CLOSE NAILBITER but imo another Win

OU will face LSU and it all depends on injuries to both teams how this plays out.
One thing is for sure if Both teams are healthy I think OU knows we gotta fix what we left on the field the last time big12 played SEC for a national championship. Most important man needs to stay healthy this time.

there is a lot of football to be played for sure. Injuries as the key.

The thing I like about OU right now is it looks like they're able to adjust their game and figure out how to beat the offense and the defense on the other team instead of running those plays over and over that don't work!

OU has a tougher remaining schedule than LSU....A&M in Norman, Texas on a neutral field, but Okie State in Stillwater...and I would say don't sleep on Baylor and RGIII in Waco. That's 4 currently ranked teams.

LSU has Florida and Arkansas @ home and a tough road game @ Bama. The Bama/LSU game winner SHOULD end up being the eventual SEC winner. That's 3 currently ranked teams.

There is still a lot of football to be played. I still believe OU will win the Big XII and if they do, they will be able to handle the LSU/Bama winner.

With the Big XII and the SEC both having 5 teams in the top 25, I would pick the Big XII teams in head to head matchups right now.

Agreed. And they are not afraid to go right after teams. I'd like to see Finch get more touches though.

For an objective fan yes. For SEC fan.....? Well..... see below. Crazy whacky SEC guy lives.

I see the Missou game as a tough conference game. Like they were talking about Miss St. being a big 'test' for LSU. Or Arkansas for Bama. If you look at Arkansas AND Miss St. neither shows any reason to be condsidered tough. Neither has beat a decent team and both lost miserably to the only good teams they played. But I know it's a conference game against a capable team. SEC fan would brag on it saying "See... our conference play is tough no matter who you play". But since it's the OU and the Big 12 they see it as Missou is horrible and OU having a problem.

LSU is getting credit for Miss St. as a ranked team. They aren't now and won't be again. Same with Arkansas before it's over. Both conferences will have 4 or 5 ranked teams all the way at the end.

If they don't get a better pass rush and DB play they are in trouble.
