It means to wax the bottom of skis. Man you really pick the obscure ones, it's no wonder that few can handle the senior edition.

New word: "alpine"

No sorry, that isn't it.

Usage: Many car accidents are caused by women farding while driving.

It is the same thing. "Waxing" their faces.

New word: "rouge" (in the same vein).

rouge is red in french, but also a reddish powder or creme applied to the cheeks to make 'em all rosy. If I'm right my word is "widdershins".

You got mine straight away. Yours is another issue entirely. It appears to be from an archaic English, perhaps of American colonial origins. Could it have to do with widows' tibias? Maybe it's the name of a flower...

I need help with this one, boss. Is this strictly an English word? If so, does it have to do with the lower leg?

Sorry to leave everyone hanging... widdershins means to move in a circle counter-clockwise.
Lets try another... polecat.

Okay, this one I know. It's an animal in the weasel family, mustidae, or some such thing, and it smells horribly. It gets into farmers barns looking for mice, I guess, and stinks up the place. It is NOT a skunk.

New word: "apoplexy".

Ah hah, too obscure, is it? It's an old fashioned word for a stroke.

Replacement word: "topiary".

a topiary is bush-art. Boxwood works well, you use a trimmer to prune the bush into a fancy design.

next word: conjunction
