Talking Entertaining evening

So we just got back from soccer orientation for my daughter. Why was that entertaining? My daughter turns 3 years old this week. My impression thus far is that any 3 and 4 year old soccer league coach would have a promising career as a cat herder. Better them than me.

lol, that's too funny. My daughter turns 3 in november, and I can't imagine teaching her an organized sport. let alone a whole team at that age. lol

my daughter loves throwing balls. So i could only imagine the coach having to keep telling her to stop picking up the ball with her hands. Then giving up and having her play goalie. The whole team would probably want to play goalie. lol

There was a lot of that. They rotate through the goalie position. I don't know if that adds to the confusion or not.

That brings up fond memories of my daughter when she was that age. Her first sport was also soccer and she had a rough first practice! She would not stop crying, looking very scared and not wanting to be on the field. I had to pick her up several times just to comfort her and tell her it was going to be alright and that she didn't have to practice if she didn't want to. Luckily, she slowly got into it and started liking all kinds of sports as she got older. Now, she's an 8th grader in middle school and is in 3 sports, volleyball, basketball and track! The beast was unleashed!! ha ha Cherish your children today and all the years to come...
