I agree! For some reason, Lucas decided after The Empire Stikes Back to take the franchise in the direction of saturday morning cartoons. If that wasn't bad enough, he had to alter the first two movies by adding unnessesary CGI bits to them.

I loved the ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy, but I refuse to buy the blu-ray set due to the stupid shit Lucas has done.

If he wanted to edit anything he should've removed Jar Jar from every scene.

Jar Jar? It was the EWOKS that killed it for me. As for the prequalls, I liked the last one only for the fact that it tied up the loose ends.
