All I'm saying is air conditioned seats, a super sweet driver info center, fold out running boards, a NAV/touchscreen that just smokes the screen on the LTZ, and soft leather.

One of the dumbists things ever. My bud has this two yearold f350 with everything. You can't work the nav if the truck is in drive (or moving)what the f. Say what you want but if you go ford to chevy to ford that just shows that you like dif cars. Me I'm loyal to chevy and that's it. Best truck on the planet is def in my opinion the chevy 3500 deramax and Allison combo. Gm makes the best suspension and drive train in the world just look at the real hummer. Not a truck around that can hang with that.

The info center/mytouch/sync whatever they're calling it now really is terrific. The Mustang has the Camaro beat there too. Wish I was patient enough to wait for a dash redesign.

My Dad has 268,000 on his 1987 Ford F-150, so what is your point?

Head to head, the Ford F-150 and the Chevy 1500, about equal on performance. F150 tends to be lesser expensive and more work-oriented. Chevy 1500 tends to be more "cushy" but performs well. Frankly, although I prefer the Chevy, the 1500 is a little soft-riding for me, but still that doesn't reduce it's performance in towing and overall reliability.

Now, shift gears to the F250 and the 2500HD. No comparison...Chevy hands down. Towing, ride, performance, overall look.....Da Bomb!! I had the opportunity to coordinate the pickup/transport of two identical 35' tandem axle, camper-style trailers. Heavy monsters. We had a F250 and a 2500HD to go get them. Both diesels. Well, suffice it to say, when we lowered the tongue onto the Chevy, it barely budged and we didn't have to use load bars. When we lowered the other trailer onto the Ford...the rear end squatted so badly we had to put the load bars on and had to adjust them to maximum support. Going down the road, it took the Ford twice as long to take off from a dead stop and to get up to speed. The braking system could barely stop the heavy trailer so the driver had to make adjustments to his driving style to compensate. Chevy? No problems starting off or running highway speeds with the trailer and it stopped equally as impressive. From that experience, I'd NEVER purposely go out and buy a Ford truck. 'Nuff said!

Let me say this...I have never owned a Ford truck so I can't speak to overall quality. I am on my 2nd Chevy, the first one was totally crap and the jury is still out on the 2nd but so far so good.

Most all new vehicles look and feel awesome while new but time will tell the true quality.

MyFord Touch? MyFord Touch has to be one of the buggiest and most aggravating user interfaces ever spawned by the automotive industry. A quick Google search will get you a ton of articles about it.
