Anyone grow strawberries

Looking to get a big patch going but want them all year round.
[tired of being flooded with more then I can eat then gone]

Anyone got a fav plant or kind?

I find lots of places that sell both "all season" and "everbearing"

but have no real clue which is best.

here is just one site I have looked at.

But one plant in my patch has some of the best tomattos Ive had in a while.
Been coming up with things to cook or eat just to have one.

think Im gonna hafta dig it up and bring it inside when the season ends and clone it for next year

Have you got any greenhouse box of some kind? It don't take a buncha' complicated stuff neither. A few of your extra hella tasty tomatoes would make you even more friends than you thought were around there in the first place.

Good tomatoes ARE da' bomb, bro! You might consider saving dry seeds from your special plant rather than trying to keep a whole plant goin' for months. You prolly already know how dry seeds in their properly labelled little envelopes kept cool and dry will last indefinitely if ya' plant some and then recover seeds from that subsequent planting every few years. It's what the real green thumbs call a seed library for heirloom vegetables.

But seeds take two, so you don't know what you will end up with.
Clones will be excat copies and should grow the same ones.

Tomattos are real easy too, just break off a limb and stick in water, you got another plant.
