This thread is too funny, I'm glad that you folks turned it back around - it was ugly for a while. Anyway, back to the original topic ... would anyone who actually is compensating ever admit it? I doubt it. But hey, not everyone can be above average right?

Anyway, it seems to me that no matter what a guy drives, he seems to be accused of 'lacking' in some way or another: anyone that drives something thats 'over the top' (sports cars, luxury cars, or massive trucks) gets accused of overcompensating. Buuut those that drive something sensible (economy car, family sedan, minivan, etc) are often accused of 'not having anything' though this isn't as frequent as the 'overcompensation' claims.

I assume that was before the fireworks incident you show in your avatar?

Face it my friend. We can't win. I catch garbage for driving my Vettes and Camaros and I get the 'grandpa' thing when I drive the Regal.
Oh well, as long as I enjoy driving I really don't care what others think.

Has anyone seen my sanity? I am hiding from it and don't want it sneaking up on me!

Whilst I may have a very small 'unit', I am buying a Camaro because I live in Canada and want to speed up the whole 'global warming' situation.
