I've been away for a week. Looks like you've have sig/avatar issues.

Anyway, time for bed. Working the night shift is great. You get to see the sun rise, then sleep til 4 PM.

It gets interesting on the road to Show Low. The elevation where I'm at in Phoenix right now is 1,100 feet. I'll go up to 7,700 feet in Forest Lakes and back down to 6,300 feet in Show Low. Mind you Show Low is located on the Colorado Plateau so I'll driving up along the edge of it for awhile. The real interesting part is the complete climate change from desert to ponderosa pine forest. The largest temperature change I've seen was from 51 degrees in Forest Lakes up to 113 two hours later in Scottsdale.



The forest in the lower/middle portion of the page is where I'm heading.
