Saw something unusual in LA the other day....

I was cruising around the other day and saw a Charger driving around (which is normal) but this one had Michigan plates and cameras all over the outside of it and inside. Also had a rollcage inside and different color front and rear bumpers. I think it was either a test car for Top Gear or a photo shoot for dodge . Just thought I share it and sorry for the bad pics its hard to drive and take pictures at the same time.

They aren't dealer plates. They're Manufacturer plates.

Not a Dodge photoshoot or a Top Gear segment, it's just Chrysler running engineering trials on the Charger. Every automaker does it.

Michigan dealer plates have "D" on them, not a "W".

yes those are manufacturers plates... its most likely a test mule... I have seen the test mule for the Challenger long before it was on the market. you should see the equipment thats hooked up to them for testing... db measuring, video cameras, shock measuring, you would swear they are on life support... one feature I thought was cool was a master kill button that shuts down all electrical systems.

Weird yes but this type of thing isn't weird it's just not a usual thing that you see around all the time.

Maybe it's an SRT8 out testing. Did you get a look at the front end?
