When I was running the other day, someone passed me playing that damned Britney Spears song "I Wanna Go" too loud. For the next 3 miles, that's all I heard.

As soon as I got into my car, I started playing my own music to get rid of the musical virus that infected me.

The students in my high school classes would say that I've got rocks stuck in my head. And if I ain't got enough of 'em, according to these fine exemplars of modern america, I'm certain that some of 'em would be more than happy to lodge some more of those stones in my cranium.

You know, I think they may be right.

Lately, I've been feelin' a tad unbalanced towards the port side.

A couple more rocks on the starboard cleft, just above the ear, oughta' reset my gravitas just-so, if ya' know what I mean...

ahhhh...ear worms is what we call those songs stuck in the old noggin'.

I have that affliction almost daily...usually the last song I hear before I turn my engine off to go into work. Luckily, I have most of the songs they play on my favorite radio station, so if it's a really stuck song, I can play it again on my ipod system I keep at work. Of course then, the ear worm moves on to some of the other folks too. hehe.
