I commute to work in a tiny corolla and was recently nearly cut in half by a guy driving 80+ miles an hour in the wrong direction on the freeway. He missed hitting me head on by a couple of feet. After nearly losing my life in this cracker box car, I was tempted to go out and get the biggest truck with the biggest bumper available. The only thing that stopped me were gas prices. If people don't like other people driving huge vehicles, screw em! You never know what their reason may be. So far its a free country. I should be able to drive whatever I want!

Why do women say this? (Would appreciate hearing from any women out there who read this too!)

yo0o0o...in my opinion, only women that are in a relationship would say some shit like that...prolly not cuz they are jealous just more worried that your gonna get attention in ways they dont want you too...cuz honestly a single girl that u might pick up isnt saying that shit to herself...she is just enjoying ur ride...so tell your GF to stop hating and not to worry...

But seriously, the reason I'm getting one is because I grew up on a farm and currently am an engineer, just listening to the engine and shifting my own gears interests me to no end. It's just something I grew up learning to like, along with the fact that you can never have enough horsepower or torque to do what you want.

I think alot of women have to have all of the attention so they are probably jealous you are getting a cool car. I am not that kind of girl, my husband can have whatever he wants as long as we can afford it. Last year I bought him a boat for Valentines day and I bought him,my son,and myself all yamaha raptor 4 wheelers with my last com check. I went and picked out my own camaro and ordered it the way I wanted it! Life is way to short have fun while you are here!!!

Gee...

Seems to be an awful lot of you guys need to "over explain" how your car ISN'T compensating for your..."equipment"...Mmmmm....
And then the this thread becomes a flame about how your "wife/girlfriend/female significant other" spends too much time, money, etc. trying to look nice...Mmmmm....
You're either with the wrong women, spending too much time analyzing your...equipment or getting bored waiting for your CAMARO ! ! !
How this forum turned onto this discussion topic is almost scarry -somebody made a wrong turn somewhere.
Its like you all belong on that "other forum".
You guys used to be so much fun.
How about getting back to reality....like NOW?
