Yep, ashley let the little SAR guy get under his skin...
The Navy guy was kinda of a weird deal... he was a surface rescue swimmer, so he deployed from small boats not helo's Where he got lucky is he got assigned to support an EOD unit so he was able to train with them.... Not a typical SAR gig. The cool thing about helo SAR is we also do the C-SAR mission... think PJ Light... we don't have anywhere near the medical training they have but we do "some" small arms stuff... But not enough for us to be considered in that group of spec ops... Not even close really.... I totally understood why they kept picking on him... he should have been up front and said he learned to shoot at home and just kept shooting while in the Navy....
