I do know that if T-Rex's started roaming around eating houses, I would make a beeline to this guy's house. I do know that the area around the McDonald's is definately clear of T-Rex's.

Well depends on your ammo. If you have depleted uranium and max load in those 7.22s then Id say maybe you make it to a vital organ. The odds of you hitting the wallnut size brain though that massive skull is almost nill.

I just walked up and punched that T-Rex in the jaw and he started crying then ran away.
No AK necessary

I think it would work. AK's have pretty good penetrating power. I wouldn't bother trying to shoot it in the head, given how strong their skulls are (though it would probably be fairly hard to not hit the head if its running at you). The legs or the body should be far more vulnerable.

That said, I'd rather take my chances trying to out run it. While I'm not particularly quick or agile, I know I could dart around long enough to tire it out.

The last one I took out. I used a 12 guage with a Sabbot slug. No problem!

What kind of material do you guys think a T-Rex's skin was made out of?!

I would venture a guess that alligator and crocodile skin is as close as you'll get to similar skin texture and roughness/hardness of a T-Rex. A 7.62 x 39mm round will tear that up, no question. Throw in a 75-round drum magazine, and you should have plenty of firepower to take a T-Rex down.
