Wow this sucks........
So today is my birthday and I was having a great day. I had my second class at college today and decided to park my car in the garage(parked on the highest level far from any cars) and went to class. After my class I come out and find a $50 ticket from campus police on my window and he obviously leaned on my car because there was a scratch on the front left side fender by te front window! So I guess when you go to college you don't have to worry about the car getting damaged you have to worry about campus cops who have nothing better to do then just hand put tickets to students. Btw the ticket was for not having a front license plate which isn't a big deal in LA since so many real cops have seen my car say nothing and I even asked the police department today and they said they should cite you for that!!!!

On my 18th birthday in college I was extremely happy. Drove my 1997 Trans Am to school- life was GOOD.
Came out of class, bumped into an old friend made plans to meet up later- great day! Got to my car and it broke down. (forget what it was this was over 10 yrs ago) Anyway- my car was in the shop for over a month beginning on my 18th bday... that ****ing sucked. Sorry about your story- hope you realize it could be worse.

I would first I would submit a bill to the campus and tell them that as a result of their officers carelessness, that your vehicle wouldn't have been damaged and they have to pay the repairs. Then I would talk to them about the ticket, but that's just me.

PA, DE and VA I know don't. I got my Camaro in PA and had to buy a license plate bracket.
