Top Gear(Cadillac CTS-V)

Did anyone watch Top Gear and see where they stated that the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V had the same engine as the ZR1 lol..what a bunch of idiots. The CTS-V as we all know comes with the LSA. You would think a show about cars would know a thing or two about cars. Ill stick with watching The Car Show with Adam Carrolla.

The Car Show is way funnier too!

They should replace that tall guy on top gear with Matt Farah!

Technically the LSA and LS9 are both derived from the same engine (LS3).

And The Car Show is even worse when it comes to automotive facts...the last episode I ever watched said the 2011 Caprice was the same as a G8. There hasn't been one episode where I haven't picked out something incorrect.

I was speaking about Top Gear USA and the air date was last night. They never said derieve from the LS9 he literally said it was the same engine. I mean really the LSA is a different motor than the LS9. Just like LS3 and L99. Just little differences to make them different. I'm sure ZL1 owners aren't gonna go around saying they have a LS9 in their car. What's wrong with just saying hey it has a LSA engine. To me they got mixed up and didn't catch it. Alot of shows are like this but I personally like The Car Show better.

It also drives me up the wall that to make it entertaining they have to take opposing points of view and rip the car that the other guy is defending. I mean the guy last night claiming the 59' is how a Cadillac should be. Yeah they'd be out of business if they built a 20 foot long car in 2011.
Moron.

I like both uk and us top gear Uk is better but they always bash american cars no matter how good they are like uk was great a building cars with the shitty electronics and shoddy quality ok got that rant out. Yea when i heard him say it was the exact same motor as the zr1 i did shake my head in disbelief. i will say this the Uk guys always dissagree on the cars they drive they all have different tastes just like the us guys it would be pretty boring if they all agreed all the time. I do like how the wagon beat the coupe on the track lol

Us top gear is so lame. No chemistry at all between the hosts and the jokes seem to try way too hard. Top gear UK is much better.

I love Top Gear... I think the U.S. version is aimed more toward the younger crowd, which is probably why I like it. I wouldn't worry too much about the error. Like other said, other shows make mistakes like that too.

English guys bashing American cars is unreal. That country can't even keep a car company going. Everyone that loves the little British sports cars jokes about the horrid electrical systems.

Yea, i love the US Top Gear. I know its not a know all, end all of car facts show; its more of a sweet, 'how much fun can we have with this car?' show!
And i think its pretty good, i just watched the whole first season and didn't stop laughing the whole time!

They may have missed a fact, but damn that coupe and wagon looked great being put around the track! I have liked this season even better than last. As for the car show, I watched the first episode and that is it. Adam Corolla is just annoying and the basketball guy knows nothing about cars.
