Apparently even my garage is not safe from the hurricane

Gonna start building the ark soon, its starting to come through the garage door

looks like i'll be shop vac-ing water for hours to come...fun fun.

I have resorted to using old towels, cardboard, insulation, and anything i can find to dam up the garage door. I had a feeling i needed sandbags....****

Remember to put plastic around the sand bags or whatever you are using, it helps. Like big rolls of plastic.

Well, looks like throwing the random crap I had lying in the garage infront of the door slowed it down somewhat. Either that or its not raining as hard.

Sleep and hope for the best tomorrow morning.

Same thing happens with my garage doors! It will seep in for days but it never gets deep, it usually dries up.

Same with me - ground very saturated - water coming in from the perimeter where the floor and wall meet. No damage - always kept stuff off the floor --> look at it as an opportunity to clean out your garage...
