Axel's surgery went better than expected the tumor was only loosely attached to the muscle, and the vet didn't have to excise the fascia at all. Axel is home, and after a little battle getting him out of the SUV (he didn't want to jump down), is happy. My bank account is happy too - instead of the $980 I was originally quoted, it only cost me $430! WOOHOO!!!!! Still have to wait 4 or 5 days for pathology tests, but I'm betting that it will all be fine. Thanks for all your puppy prayers - they worked!
I'm exhausted, and have to be at work at 7am tomorrow to move into our newly remodeled pharmacy, so I'm hittin the hay.... Nitey nite old farts!!!
