California has officially gone communist... So by having a white car instead of a black one, perhaps it is a few degree's cooler..When you get in either car, you are going to turn the AC on full blast anyways so it doesn't matter!!!!!! This is ridiculous..

OK, so maybe they'll ban black and dark colored cars in southern california and ban white and light colored cars in northern california because they use their heaters more because its cooler there...

i'm not surprised at the idiocy of our fine politicians in california. some of them wanted a ban on dihydrogen monoxide not too long ago.

the dihydrogen monoxide ban was just a joke that was going around, its obvious no one would ever do that.

that said this is stupid, but there are easy ways around this. the loophole in this is that it only has to reflect X amount of light, it doesn't say visible light and the light spectrum is um.. pretty Fing big. So get a shiny car that reflects and problem solved.

Finally can we please stop saying this is liberals or conservatives on this board as a sterotype. Not everyone that is conservative is a redneck and not everyone that is a liberal is a hippie, in fact only a small percentage of either side is really off their rockers and thats who you hear about the most.
