I think that would work in A&M's favor because for some reason TU wants nothing to do with the SEC whatsoever.

With A&M, TU, OU, OSU, and TT, I think the Big XII(10) can still field some good teams on par with the other conferences but I do wish Nebraska stuck around but money rules all.
Sorry that The University of Texas has so many followers and top ranked sports programs that we can have a 24/7 Longhorn Nation channel! You said it....."Money rules" and most don't want to put up the money to watch aTm, or Neb. See, OU & Texas bring money to the table...they make money for their schools...BIG MONEY, winning programs = Mo Money.

OU & UT are in the drivers seat of Big XII football, and all others are just speed bumps along the way. I suggest until aTm wins conference, can stay in the top ten year after year, and play for a NC.........just keep on

While that may be true, if some of them go to the SEC then maybe the SEC will stop giving up undefeated teams.

For the 'Hardest Schedule' in the NCAA they have had the most undefeated teams come from it of any other conference in the passed ten years.

I'm an ACC fan myself, even if the teams (usually) suck, since I'm a Georgia Tech fan.

SEC remains the strongest conference in football as if that was ever a contest.

So far TU has a network that no cable companies in the State of Texas have even bid.

Nothing to be sorry about Ponyman. It must be hard for you to admit that OU is "equal" to TU as far as the Big XII goes. I mean with OU owning more Big 12 and National Championships that Texas, more weeks ranked in the top 10, higher winning percentage, etc.

For the record...A&M was the 1st BIG XII Champ and they do have a National Championship. granted it was a long time ago, lol

You need to recheck what you consider staying in the top ten "year after year" because TU is not as consistent as OU.

If TU wants to keep being a big fish in a little pond, cool with me. I like that A&M has the balls to go to a bigger & better conference. No one can argue that the SEC is head and shoulders above the Big XII. TAMU will take it's lumps in it's first few years in the SEC, I'd be a fool to think otherwise.

In the long run though, how many Texas HS recruits will shift from the Horns in an even more watered down Big XII (if it survives) to A&M in a conference with better overall competition, national exposure, and the last 6 national champs?

One more thing...how cool is it that TU's stadium is named after a Oklahoma native?

Come on, get it right....1996 Texas: 37 Nebraska: 27!! The University of Texas was the 1st BIG XII Football Champ.

Are you an aggie or a Pooner...or just a want to be fan? Texas & OU are Big XII Football, I am sorry that when the Big XII began in 1996, UT and OU hoped that Neb, aTm, and the Buffs would "SHOWUP". If you want to watch 24/7 of OU football...go for it. I want to watch top ranked UT Football, but also top ranked UT Basketball, Baseball, Track, Golf, Swimming.......Men's and Women's.
