I've always heard tho that it's useless having more than 8 GB of RAM since there's not really any (if any) games that require more than 8 GB of RAM. The only games that I can think of that uses 8 GB are Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Metro: 2033.

Dedication last rig I built was a few years back so I decided to build a new rig and spare no expense doing it

I also do some photo/video editing when I'm bored
