its to jerky and just isnt smooth enough for my taste

I almost bought a springfield but heard the SIS was cut off so I got one while I could. I shot one of these a few years ago, I usually don't like green/tan frames.... but I kinda like this, not a fan of rubber grips though

That is exactly what it was.. she's got her's set up for 22's and the springs were too soft.

yeah, take one apart (especially an early one) and look at the back of the sear and the trigger bar.... isn't great from the factory, but just a few minutes of filing and polishing with a stone..... shortens it up a lot and makes it very smooth.... took me all of 10 minutes
