My car would look pretty funny if it were painted to represent our money. blue, purple, green, red, and brown. doesn't even make a nice rainbow.

I don't think so. I like red as a color for lots of things, but I would not own a red car...especially a sports car. So cliche. My favorite car color is black, and yes it's hard to keep clean, but a clean black car is the shiznit IMO! I will vote for blue tho since it's one of my favorite colors...on and off a car.

Since I already told you mine is better, it's time to explain why. "Oh, dear—why, The_Blur, is your color superior to mine?" That's a great question. I'm glad you asked. Green has significance and value in our society.

As all of you know, green is the American color of success, evidenced in money. Our money, unlike most nations' money, has only one major color, and that color is green. For me, success is important for me to buy a Camaro since I have $0 in the bank right now for it, I will need to make bank after college to afford my Camaro, which I will probably dress with green accenting. Green would cost far too much and look too weird as a paint color for the whole car, so I will add traditional muscle car stripes in green to signify the future success of my Camaro on the track and to symbolize the successful saving and work I would have performed to get my new whip.

I reserve the right to add arguments to assert that my color is better than your color—so there.
I guess that all comes down to priorities. If money is your #1 priority, then that would be a good reason to have green as a favorite color.

However, here are my refutations to your argument:

Green is the color of American currency, that is true. However, unless you're planning on great success in the retail market, you will probably not be seeing too much of the green stuff. In the business world, black would be the color of success. In accounting, negative numbers are traditionally written in red while positive numbers are written in black, thus the phrases "In the red" (Bad) and "In the black" (Good!).

Also, unless you plan on buying your camaro with a fairly heavy briefcase full of green money, you may want to consider getting your car accented with the color of your bank/credit card.

Also, as most of you probably know, why they call the Friday after Thanksgiving 'Black Friday'. Kickoff of the Holiday Shopping Season when many stores go from 'in the red' to 'in the black'.

I've been surprised that quite a few people didn't know that.

Even more surprised when I heard reports that some are finding it offensive and ask why it has to be called 'Black' Friday. They need to get a clue, and people need to stop worrying to much about being 'PC'...

Seriously. I've had just aout enough of this Politically Correctness. Around here, it seems I'm not alone, though - people are saying 'Merry Christmas' on purpose. And you know what? Good for them/you.

People need to lighten up...like this guy:

I chose black because it's my favorite color. I think that black thing tend to look the best. Black in combination with colors sometimes, and black on its own othertimes.

My Pulsar is going black, lowered on gloss black wheels, with limo tint and nightshaded indicators. However, my Camaro won't be black.

The way I see it, the Camaro is that funloving car that everyone wants but nobody thinks they can afford, keep, or handle. I love that image, and I wouldn't tarnish it with black. Why take it so seriously? Just because the car can smoke others doesn't mean it has to look like it's trying. I'd rather beat another car and look like I didn't even care

Personally, I'm really leaning toward Hugger Orange for my camaro, or possibly a blue option if there is a nice one. Also, I might take white depending on the finish they put on the production paint - I find that white is really attractive on many cars in natural light.

I knew that and we don't even have a black friday. we just have a 'Oh yeah, its American Thanksgiving' day. Our biggest day of shopping is boxing day, I've heard that Americans don't have such a thing.

Yes, that is part of it . The holiday is observed throughout the commonwealth on December 26th. historically it was supposed to be the poor mans christmas, where workers and their families would get boxes of gifts from their boss. Now it is the single biggest shoping day in Canada. Some stores top a million dollars in sales in one day. The stores use boxing day/boxing week sales to clear out all their old merchandise that wasn't bought for Christmas. The other important thing about boxing day is that it is the start of the world junior hockey tournement.
