Fingertip drilled ball with the inserts will help you. As long as you understand keep your feet slow and move your arm straight back then forward.. you will have NO issue throwing a hook.

I went from a small hook to cranking it just from practice..maybe i'll get a video of a few shots I throw tonight.
I have been told by many instructors its hard for girls to have a big curve like boys because we can't throw as hard. Mine hooks a little right at the end but other than that pretty straight.

Not true..

I know plenty of girls who can throw a good hook. Just got to have the axis of the ball spinning right.

Having the ball drilled properly is a big part of it..and fundamentals. Keeping your ball speed between 13-15mph and you should be able to make it dance.

Mine is usually around 14. Hmm... Meh what I got works for me. Usually its just between pin 1 and 3 and I usually get a strike or a spare. But who knows maybe I'll get bored and try to work on it. Its just bowling isn't cheap...

I have a ball I just need to get it drilled. I actually looked up coupons for the alley near me. They have some deals a few days a week.

lol, vegas is great. $1 bowling, and i have my own shoes.

something else you can do to help your curve is to get a hole drilled on the opposite side of the ball where the weight is.

trying to curve a house ball or straight ball is harder, fyi.

A few of my redrills have this. But mostly to keep them within USBC spec.
