Man I have been waiting for this car. I think that it is going to do well with the car market especially with those number. I think stock to stock that would be a good race down the track with the 2010 Camaro SS. I know that the last time that I watched motor trend on the 5th gens their fastest time was about a 13.0 @ 106 mph I think. I have seen faster times than that for a stock V-8. Please do not quote for the times. They do look sick with that GTR kind of look..

...Two words "press car" . Let's not crown the new SRT8's just yet like some did the 5.0. When real production cars hit real owners we'll know if dodge came to play.

Conparing to other MT times, yes they are, they have gotten 12.9-13.1 for the LS3 SS, 12.7 for the 5.0.
I think we will see even quicker times once the public gets ahold of them.

I dont get where you are getting that, haven't the 5.0s ran as quick as 12.4 stock and the best the Magazines got was 12.7?

I love that it's faster than hell! Who cares if it ends up schooling the SS? It's a 4-door hot rod sedan! If that's what you were after then you wouldn't have bought the Camaro.

I love this new era of muscle!

I'll tell you though, they really messed up the styling on the Charger.

I don't ever recall seeing time slips for a bone stock 12.4 5.0.. All car companies give the press "hopped up" press cars, from Porsche to Chevy. Real numbers come from real owners with real PRODUCTION cars IMHO.
