Solstice hardtops look pretty snazzy too.

Solstice hardtops are pretty rare. Only 1,700 built if I recall correctly. Launched at the beginning of the end for Pontiac.

Drove one of the CTF cars, but it was too cold to take the targa top off and really enjoy it.

I would love to be able to have a hard top solstice and keep it locked away somewhere.

I owned 2 Skys, a 2007 manual that was the 251st one built, then after two years and 24,000 miles, we took a trip in the mountains that my left knee swelled up for about a week from using the clutch, I traded it for a 2008 automatic. I heard all the complaints about space inside and how uncomfortable it was but if you know how to pack you can get more into it than you would think. My wife and I made several trips to Myrtle beach and one trip to Daytona in ours. We packed enough for a weeks stay. And that was no short trip. it was fair in the comfort area, we did stop every couple hours to stretch our legs.
I sold the 2008 Sky in order to get the Camaro after I was laid off. I must admit the Camaro is the better car all around.

My wife still owns her 2007 Solstice and loves it! (Plus she looks DAMN hot driving it) Practicle? NO..can barely carry a couple jugs of milk, the cup holder is in the worst place ever, and there is virtually no place to staore much anything, change, etc.

It is a REAL fun car to drive though and for the engine, I think goes pretty fast! It turns heads more than my Camaro so that's gotta say something!

I miss my 2008 Solstice GXP. I had a tune, exhaust, CAI and a few other mods. I felt the interior was roomy enough, the materials weren't the best but they weren't the worst either. Never had any mechanical issues except for a $30 purge solenoid that I replaced. Handled really well and definitely got more attention than the Camaro does (especially from the ladies lol)

Although quick for the type of vehicle, the engine had it's limitations and parts were pricey for the performance gained. As mentioned above, storage space was limited but doable if you didn't have any moderately sized box-like item. Lol. Funny enough, the wife and I went grocery shopping one day and completely forgot we drove the solstice. You would be amazed on how many plastic bags of groceries fits into a solstice with the top up.

I'll still see it occasionally and miss the drives in the mountains.

I miss my 2009 Sky turbo. I admit I didn't fit in it very well and as everyone has mentioned it didn't have any storage but I loved the looks and it was fun to drive.

I have been seeing quite a few of both these cars (Sky & Solstice) lately & both are very sharp looking cars. Yes, I do think GM should revive some version of one of these but done as well inside & out as out Camaros were. That would be very cool indeed!

A secong generation of these cars would have been awesome, I think. It's just too bad that it had to be Pontiac and Saturn (and Opel in Europe) that had them. I nearly bought a Red Line last year, but I realized I didn't really want a convertible, and the Pontiac coupes were impossible to find. 300 turbo hp with a GMPP tune (warrenty intact) would have made it faster than my SS at my altitude.
