1st Speeding ticket

Welp, I have officially owned my Camaro for 3 days now, might as well get the 1st one out of the way right?

It is a killer too, copper says 74 in a 40.....would not show me the radar gun to prove that, and I really don't think I was going that fast, but no sense in fighting it!

Oh well....its Friday, and I still can't wipe the smile off my face when I see her!

LOL, something like that. He was having a bad day I think, I was all "yes sir, no sir" and he just seemed a little off. Maybe it was the Oklahoma heat!

At that speed, I would hire an attorney to represent you. May make the ticket a bit easier to swallow. That or take Defensive Driving.

BTW... NICE CAR. Whose wheels are those?

I agree. Was it just speeding or reckless driving?
Car looks clean!

Ya I will take whatever they dish as me, pretty much what I told the officer as well, I was not, and am not going to try to fight it, just want to know what the damage is...but they want me to go to court, so I will. I will show up in my slacks and tie, talk like an educated adult to the judge and end up on probation for a year and they will lose out on their money!

It was actually "aggravated speeding 21+" whatever the hell that is!

Love what they do, just wish they would focus on the people who are the real problems!

Well they are on the car for now. Dealership threw them on thinking it was a good idea. I personally do not like them, I will be going with a 20" flat black wheel (since I am doing flat black stripes)

Police don't have to show you radar, LIDAR or anything else....If he paced you with a certified speedometer, would you ask him to show that to you?

34 over you should have had your car impounded....

Don't lawyer up...That shows guilt. Lawyer up if you already have points on your license and these points will place you on the cusp of suspension.

I would make court date and speak to the APA and strike a deal. Lawyers for speeding tickets is a joke...You can do most of the research yourself by Googling the statute, getting your driving history with active points and seeing what others in your situation have done and the outcome.

Well like I said, I am not going to make a big fuss about the deal. I will show up in my best tie and take whatever they give me. I have a clean record, and a clean driving.g record to match. Just a momentary lapse in good judgement is all!

Ladybug got her first one yesterday. 80mph in a 70mph zone... I put her on restriction for the rest of the weekend. Cruise control only...
