I'm figuring all you have to do is yell "SQUIRREL" and that will distract him long enough to make your escape ...

Joke about weapons all you like. Times are changing, plenty of people not willing to work for things they want. Always have to remember, shoot someone and you will go before a grand jury. Love my concealed weapons license. Welcome to Texas!!!

I guess the desire to carry a firearm in public is just a pretty abnormal mentality to me.
The desire to carry one just to be 'cool' or something ridiculous definitely is a dangerous mentality to have. The desire to carry one to protect yourself and your loved ones from the occasional idiot of the type Z28RockStar described is just being prudent. I hope I never have to fire my weapon at another human being (haven't had to so far) but if some dumb son of a ()&*@ makes the mistake of threatening me and mine, he WILL go down.

Most kids I run into these days lack any kind of respect for other people and their belongings. Came out of wal-mart the other day to find someone had dumped ice cream on it and just left it there.

Also, 'kid' is a somewhat relative term depending on your age. Someone that went through Kuwait in '91 would likely have an easy time calling someone my age (25) or younger a kid.

Easy there kid.

I was also in Kuwait and Iraq in 91' but I'm only 41 YO so I typically don't refer to people as kids unless they are acting like it.

Exactly. I know plenty of guys my age that still think they're in high school, so kid would definitely apply there

No, they are not, lol. I'm un-banned, so I'm posting a little bit. Although I'm not worried about the Camaro so much anymore, I'll stick to the off topic section only.
