Okay, I got help from an environmental colleague; your quote is from that great photographer of Yosemite National Park, Ansel Adams. I have often thought of him as one of those who most influenced me to take up photography as a serious amateur, no snap-shots here.

New quote: "I'm going to huff, and I'm going to puff, and BLOW your house in!"

Yours is the Big, Bad Wolf!

How about this???

"For the first time in sixteen years, I shall sleep well."

This one sound like it comes from someone who has been doing something difficult, but that it needed doing for sixteen years, and he/she is now finished with that task.

The sixteen part makes me think of elected officials with even numbered terms. It can't be a president because FDR died before his sixteenth year in the White house; senators have six year terms, that won't do, uneven for sixteen; representatives in Congress often have many two year terms, that'll work; on the state level, governors have terms that could add up to sixteen, depending upon the state in which they serve.

Hmm. Am I close?

So, I'm way off of the mark...
I expect this quote might therefore be from a KID who THINKS he/she has had it hard for whatever reason.

They're so grown up now that they deserve the job-well-done respite that they imagine adults receive (at least in their mind's eye vision of what adults do).

Is this from a teenage personage such as Just'a Beaver? or that child-vixen-daughter singer whose father is of "Achey Breaky" notoriety?

Nope....
Along the lines of your last two quotes... It's an animated character.

You may have sounded my death knell as a contestant for this posting. You know I don't watch TV, nor do I attend movies written for young audiences.

These attempts here will, per force, be shots in the dark (on a moonless evening, during a silent but heavy snowing in the vacant Taīgus of Eastern Siberia).

Maybe: Lion King or Pumba or Smallest Mermaid or Olive Oyl?

For the moment, I'll leave you ladies to peruse your feminine memories of ultra-romantic quotes. I ain't completely dead to this stuff by any means, it just doesn't leap to mind with the same alacrity that it does amongst the more fertile brains of the fairer sex.

I ain't givin' up on your quote, don't give yourself THAT notion...

Somehow I remember this from Middle School. We watched it a couple times for history class. All the girls thought it was the best line ever.
It's Pocahontas. (sp)
