I picked up a ps2 to for 50 bucks at game stop to play til I go home in a month and a half. Any suggestions on games to get? i know its old school but they are really cheap and its actually still fun to play. For all you young bucks out there the ps2 came out before the ps3 lol

A game called BLACK

One of the most damned good shooters that I could think of on that system. You'll recognize it instantly by all the bullets on the cover.

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One was also a pretty good shooter for the PS2.

Nope, different as black and white. Completely different storylines and multiplayer. (If anybody's even playing multiplayer. ) There's also some different weapons that I had never seen in the CoD series.

Damn, this makes me wanna hook up my PS2 and play it.

But defiantly look for BLACK. That was one kickass game, I've seen it a lot in Walmart and Gamestop usually has a used copy of both games that I'm talking about.

i had black actually for my xbox. it was fun until i beat it. lol

i forget doesnt medal of honor have a game for the ps2? if so i think that game was fun

Ya, they had MOH: Frontline, and MOH Rising Sun. I didn't play frontline, but I remember Rising Sun being pretty good, the gameplay, levels, and story where good; it also had a lot of little extras that you unlocked by finding or completing secret objectives. If you got the medal in each mission you were supposed to unlock a secret level. I don't know if that's true tho because I was only ONE medal away from finding out. but the graphics were pretty bland.

There was also a good one called MOH: European Assault. Decent story, good graphics, had secret stuff and unlockables, but I remember the story being kinda short.

I think that they also ported MOH: Airborne to the PS2 when it came out.

I remember the first moh for the ps1 I think and hated it. Ill give it a shot again though I'm sure they got better on the ps2. The games are cheap as hell

They probably did. I've always been more of a PC gamer before I bought my PS2 back in the day. MoH: Allied Assault is still one of my more memorable shooters for the PC.

But ya, the 2 MoH's I had on PS2 were pretty good games.
