You got a Pacer in Vigilante 8. Couldn't swap motors, but apart from that it was similar.

This is my favorite racing game. Burnout PCE from the late 90s. I have to play it on an older PC.

Great drag racing simulator!! You can build some wicked fast cars.. My best car was a Vega that ran 4.9s...

Though I played a lot of car arcade games, when Papyrus came out with Indy 500 and then it's other NASCAR simulations...I was in heaven.

I prefer good racing simulations, not arcade racing where it doesn't matter if you hit the wall...or you can pass just because you're behind. True racing simulations are where it's at!

Back in the day I used to play the hell outta Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit III. That and NFS: High Stakes.

I especially loved the intros, man, now I gotta go dig em both up so I can see if I can make em work with Windows 7.
