I'll be watching. I can understand the disdain for Farrah here; his review on the Camaro was less than flattering. But I still think he's going to be good on the show.

TGUSA is barely watchable, so it shouldn't be too difficult to top that mess.

I'll be watching. I'm a fan of Adam Corolla. Even though I like Top Gear UK, most of the cars they show aren't available here.

The problem with top gear USA is that they are trying to DUPLICATE TGUK. 98% of what makes TGUK great is the hosts and their chemistry. Hell TGUSA even uses the same jokes, and their scripts are written to sound exactly like the UK guys. They even use the same cadence to deliver jokes and over the top hyperbole. It's disgusting.

If they'd just let the real personalities of the people work together instead of trying to force it into a mold, they might have something.

That's where I think Adam Corollas show will be better. It'll be what TGUSA should have been.

The show will be different that TG and TGUSA. Both of those shows are scripted. The hosts say the lines they are given.
The Car Show is situational, the hosts are put into a situation, and scenes are suggested, but all the dialog is off the cuff, and what happens, happens.
Of course much of it will come down to the editing, and the feel that the producers give it.
We shot a scene with the hosts, and it was blast. They were really having fun, and taking in the experience.
I am looking forward to how it goes tonight.

watching the show, John salley seems like he is out of place, can't watch Farah with out forgetting his panning of the camaro. The fella from the WSJ has alot of info and I like him, I believe he had pretty good reviews of the camaro if I remember right. Carolla makes it work. already better than Topgear USa IMO. sort of a cross between ESPN's "pardon the interuption" and top gear.

well its not great, the Game-show segment was a bunch of crap. John Salley needs to go, he's not a car guy and was non existent thru-out the show. Matt farah was actually great so many butt-hurt people need to let it go. Adam was great, with time the scripted vive will get lost and he will be better. Neil was all high and mighty but i think, thats the role he needs to play. The show lacks Top gear or TGUSA cinegraphic scenes, but the future look bright.

season 2 of TGUSA is around the corner, the previews look great. With more time and work the chemistry of the host look like it has matured and might pull a fast one on the Car Show.

They couldn't have found a worse host for that show. They guy is trying so hard to sound like Jerry Seinfeld and Ray Romano. Tim Allen should host it.
