another dbag

Ok so I am going home from work last night in my Camaro. I am tooling at 73mph (in a 65). There is a ricer in passing lane going about 70. I am in the "slow" lane already. As I pull up next to him and start to pull ahead, he hits the gas and jumps ahead, then brakes to slow down next to me.

I'm not even looking over cuz I know what he wants. So he pulls ahead of me and gets in the slow lane. At this point I see a McDonalds bag fly out of his window as the passenger sticks his hand out and flips me off.

I mean really. If I were 15 years younger I'd have chased him down just to beat his a$$.

I wasnt even worth calling the PD over as I was exiting the highway and he was going into another jurisdiction that doesnt really patrol the highway.

sorry just venting. Starting to hate the behavior my car seems to bring out in people.

Not worth even a moments thought. No matter what sports car I've owned I always see this type of behavior. I just smile and let it happen. The worst thing you can do is giving them the satisfaction of caring about it.

some tool whips around an import in a gas station parking nose to nose. I walk around the front end just to make sure there is ample walking distance between the two cars.

I wouldnt say your car is bringing this behavior out as these folks are just Dicks and dont need to be behind the wheel.

It is crazy what a decent car makes people do. When I bought my 2002 Camaro SS I pulled out of the dealer parking lot and hit the very first stop light. It was no more than 50 yards out of the dealer lot, I didn't even get out of first gear. The wife and I sat there talking and a redneck in a Dodge Dakota rolled up next to us and started revving his balls off. My wife looked over at me and said, "Is he serious?". I replied, "Get used to it.".

Same experience here. Within a block of pulling my new LT out of the dealer to take it home, a TT tried to race me in a 35 zone heading into downtown. Ummm, no.

Ive also found that people relentlessly do 10 under the limit in front of me in no passing zones. I drive my LT like I drove my JK (jeep), 5 mph over the limit at most, usually spot on the limit. I NEVER had an issue with people doing 10 under the limit in front of my jeep....in fact most people would blow around me. Now, its a PITA to get to work on time with people dragging their feet in front of me through no passing zones.
